It is that time of year again! School time, I have 3 kids and 2 of them are in school I'm very excited to see them go back to school.. LOL... But back to school time is so exspensive, book rental $110.00 each kid, Lunch $1.60 each kid per day, plus new school clothes and school supplies... This year I'm going to attempt to get school supplies under $20.00 for both kids not including their backpacks... School clothes I'm not really worried about my parents take them every year and get them a good amount of school clothes. I have made a list of things that your children will need for school and have included links to coupons so you can get the supply part Cheap or my favorite FREE!!!!

Elmers Glue Xtreme glue stick I printed this a while back so I'm not sure if it is still good or not but I checked the price at Walmart it is $1.98 so after coupon it is $.98 a stick... I personally didn't think that was super cheap but they are the bigger sticks so they would probably last longer.
#2 pencils you can FREE everyplace especially this time of year!! Fair time What do businesses give away on their tables at the fair as advertisements Pencils and I just happen to have a few boxes of National Guard pencils my wonderful husband brought home :) If you go to any of the Fair's stop by the Fire Department booth, State police booth they always have pencils!!!
Notebook and Folders are usually found for around $.05 and $.10 each so that is a great deal even with out a coupon!!! and I recommend when you find them this cheap you stock up on them everyone can always use a Notebook and who knows when you child will come home with a folder that got ripped and if that happens in the middle of the school year you will have to pay between $.60 to $2.00 to replace it.... ( I know not a lot of money but more than you should have to pay)
Crayons, Markers and Colored Pencils, I e-mailed Crayola and told them how much I love their products!! Normally when I do this I receive a large amount of coupons in the mail for that product! It never hurts to email the company!
Post Its if you kid needs Post it notes sign up for the Post it perks program you will frequently receive emails with coupons!! (great program for teachers to use to)
Expo Markers Like Expo Markers on facebook! They ofter offer coupons for Dry Erase Markers!!
These are just a few I could find this week!!! Remember you don't have to buy all the supplies at the same time! go pick up the ones that are super cheap or FREE and Keep looking for coupons and sales for the rest a few days before school starts go pick up what you haven't been able to find super cheap or FREE and I'm going to bet they will be even cheaper or on clearance by then!!!

Tip of the Day!!!
If you use a coupon binder at the front of the book put a plastic page cover and type up a list of things you usually need that takes a size and you can never remember what kind to get such as Vacuum cleaner bags.. I have 2 Vacuums I always know when I'm out yet when I go to the store and remember I need them I never know what size to get and usually guess and get the wrong one... So now I put it in my binder if I need vacuum bags I know to go to the front of my binder and their it is. no more store returns!!! This will also work if you do your own car repairs and are always looking in the giant book in automotive for sparkplugs, oil filters. just look in the book once write it down when you get home type it up, put it in your book and you have it!!! Great time saver!!!

Tip Of the Day!!!
Do you have kids that use your microwave!!! Mine use it all the time and I use it maybe twice a week! So if they forget to put a lid or paper towel over that nice bowl of saucy ravioli, and don't tell me (which is 90% of the time) or don't wipe it out (which is 100% of the time) Then when I go to use the Microwave it is spotting with dried on sauce, cheese or what ever else they decided to put in their! (once a marshmallow that exploded all over the microwave!!! A.K.A. sticky mess!!! I found the best thing that works spray the inside of the microwave with white vinegar spray it down pretty good. Then soak a rag in water, vinegar and abt 2 tablespoons of lemon juice put the rag in the microwave and microwave it for 1 minute. When the rag gets hot is sends beads of water all over the microwave a looses the stuck on food... When the minute is up open the microwave but don't touch the rag yet it will be really really hot... Unless you have an ov-glove because then you won't get burnt. Once the rag cools a little and you can safely touch it wipe out the microwave. take a dry towel and wipe it out after your done using the rag and in less than 2 minutes you once again have a very clean microwave!!! And you didn't have to scrub and scrub to get it that way!!!

Don't Fret the Sweat!!!
The coupon Job
My 7 year old asked me yesterday mom can I help you at your "coupon job"? I kind of just laughed at first because I wasn't even doing anything with my coupons. But as the day went on I kept thinking about what she said "coupon job" she had one thing right couponing is a job if you want to maximize your savings in every way. It is defiantly not for everyone. It takes time, one to acquire the coupons either your taking time to go to the store and get a bunch of newspapers, or finding them online to order or even digging in the dumpster for them. All time consuming and then you have to search for the deals which takes me between one hour to 4 hours depending on if I do my own match ups or if I find one of my reliable sites to check. Most of the time I use a site. Then after you find the deals you clip the coupons you need and file them in your binder. I keep my inserts by date and type in a file cabinet if you clip all the coupons and file them each week that takes even more time. So I think she is right it is a job, but it is a fun Job and in the end you kind of get paid for it with your savings. So every time you go to the store and save you can say oh look I make $54.00 today! :)

Newton's Fruit thins
ok so I'm not a fig newton person at all I have had maybe 2 in my entire life! I don't like the taste or texture of them. So when Marsh did Triple coupons I had some coupons for the new Newton's fruit thins I got a package Free with the coupon so I picked a package up.. They have been in the top of my pantry for the past 3 weeks lol I haven't even thought about opening them until today when I was looking for a snack between lunch and dinner.. I have been trying to drop about 60 lbs so I don't eat a lot of junk food, I buy it but hubby eats the majority of it followed by the kids. I watch what I eat so snooping through the pantry I find the Newton Fruit thins I pull them off the top shelf (that is where you have to keep the good stuff when you have kids lol) look at the nutritional facts. 140 calories for 3 cookies and 5 grams of fat not to bad the cookies are pretty big but really thin.. And let me tell you they are really tasty I pulled 3 cookies out of the package I figure if I don't like them then one of the kids will eat them.. well the kids didn't get any lol... So if you looking for a good cookie that tastes great and isn't really going to pack on the pounds unless you eat the whole package that is. Go buy a package of Newton Fruit Thins.... oh and if you want to share them with your kids they would be great to put into lunches!!!
