Kroger

12 pack cokes are 4 for $10 again at Kroger keep in mind if you signed up for www.recyclebank.com and cashed your points in for the $1.00 off any coke product you will get 2 cases of coke for $6.00 or $1,50 a 12 pack

Don't forget if the coupon does not specify a size you can use it on a travel size item such as tooth paste!!! which will more than likely make it free!!!

Kroger and Meijer both double coupons up to .50 but you can only use 2 like coupons if you have more than 2 like coupons you need to do a sep. transaction for every 2 you have! 

Walmart does not double coupons but they do price match and they are usually cheaper than the other stores and my Walmart is very coupon friendly!  I always use my coupons that are over .50 at walmart!

ALWAYS PRINT AND TAKE YOUR STORES COUPON POLICY WITH YOU!  CASHIERS ARE NOT TRAINED VERY WELL AND SOME DO NOT UNDERSTAND IF YOU HAVE IT WITH YOU IT WILL SAVE TIME IF A PROBLEM ARISES.

FYI:  walgreens is going to have Righ Guard Buy one get one free again starting Sunday if you still have some coupons left that expire 5/31/2011 you need to use them you get both Items FREE and only pay .31 tax on both of them!!!! (Keep in mind when getting free stuff if you can't use it someone can Please donate it)

Noah's Walmart Trip

I sent Noah to Walmart to pick up a few things he did very very well!!! :)  He is learning!  Here is what he got and what Coupons were used to get the deal!!!

1 Glade Spray $2.50...... Used a coupon I got Mailed from liking glade on Facebook made it FREE
4 Travel Tide  $.97 each .... Used 4 $1.00 off any tide they mailed me making all 4 FREE + $.12 overage
7   3 pack Ivory soap $.97 Each.... Used 7 $1.00 off any Ivory soap from the 5/1 P&G insert Making all 7 FREE +  $.21 overage
5 Reach Dental floss $.88 each used 5 $1.00 off any Listerine product from the 4/17 SS insert Making all 5 Free + $.60 Overage
6 Noxema Bakini Shavers $1.97 Each used 6 $2.00 off Noxema Shaver coupons from the 5/1 SS insert Making them all FREE +  $.18 overage
and 2   20 oz cokes not pictured Noah took them to work lol $1.28 each I cashed in my coke rewards points for a bunch of free 20 oz coke coupons so both were FREE

Total before Tax 32.44 
After Coupons:  -1.99 (because of the overage)
Tax $2.20
the Overage covered part of the tax so the final cost was $.21 paid with a quarter and getting change Can't beat that!!!

Total savings $32.23  a 99% savings! 

What can you get for $5.00

I haven't had a chance to go to the stores this week with Noah working nights so I made a list out of stuff I want him to run and get for me tomorrow!  The Grand total he should spend if he only grabs the things on my list $5.13!  So what can you get for $5.13 probably way more than you think ;)... Ok lets start off at Walgreens what will we find their 12 bottles of Right Guard Body wash on sale for Buy one Get one free combine that with a buy one get one free coupon and we check out with 12 bottles of body wash and just pay tax should be around $3.72  or $ .31 a bottle!!! Good deal Now for a quick run in to Meijer to grab some Ketchup my kids go through tons of Ketchup and this week Meijer has Hunt's Ketchup 24 oz for $.99 each combine that with my $.35 off coupons that will double to $.70 Making each bottle $.29 each for a grand total of $1.74 I'm going to have him do each bottle as a separate transaction because Meijer will only double the first 2 like coupons.  Then off to Walmart (my fav store)  We will be getting 1 Glade spring collection spray  (FREE) with coupon that they mailed me after I liked them on facebook... 6 Noxema Bikini Shavers $1.97 each I have 6 coupons for $2.00 off each package making them (FREE) plus .18 overage,  5 trial size Tide $.97 (love these for traveling and for Noah to take when he goes on trips)  5 coupons for $1.00 off any tide making them (FREE) with $.15 overage!  and last 2 20oz cokes (FREE) cashed in my coke rewards for Coke coupons!  So my total trip at Walmart they will actually pay me $.33 so my grand total will be $5.13 for 32 items!!! So next time you say that $5.00 will get you nothing think again  :)

Sunday 5/1

I have found a few things I wanted to share.... First off I know many people are getting overwhelmed with all the coupons that are coming out and can't keep up.  I have found a great system for this Get two File boxes or an empty file cabinet drawer and get some hanging files.  Label each file with the date such as 5/1 and the name of the inserts Smartsource or Redplum and file your inserts instead of cutting them out.  When a deal arises someone will post the deal along with which insert the coupon can be found in.  go to the file pull out that insert clip your coupons put them in your book and head to the store... This will save you a ton of time and energy.  and keep you sane! 


A few hot deals I will be stocking up on this week that I want to share:

Walgreens has Right Guard body wash BOGO (buy one get one free)  and their is a BOGO coupon in this weeks Redplum insert for BOGO Right Guard body wash:  making both of them FREE (yes I already have 30 body wash in my cabinet and don't need it but it is free and their have been a mass of tornado victims this year and if you don't want all the body wash send me your coupons I will pick it up for you and donate it to someone that will get great use out of it)  (also when these deals come up and you think I can't use 10 shower gel or I don't want a massive stock pile think about holiday time.  Names on the Christmas trees, kids needing stuff to donate at the school for food banks) you could get a box or Rubbermaid tub and fill it with the stuff you get FREE and don't want to keep and donate it at holiday time.  :)

Walmart has Noxzema Razer's for $1.97 for a 3 pack their is a coupon in the smartsource paper for $2.00 off so you would also get them free along with some overage....

Walmart also has Degree Trial size Deodorant $.97 each in 4/17 coupons their is a $1.00 off any Degree making them FREE also..

Meijer Has Ketchup for $.99 each Hunts 24 oz Pretty good deal even with out a coupon but if you buy Banquet TV dinners their is coupons inside them for $.35 off!  Meijer doubles so $.70 off each bottle. who can pass up $.29 Ketchup!

When I sit down tomorrow when I get my coupons I ordered I will post more that is either free or under a $1.00 because that is what I normally buy!  I have been trying not to pay no more than a $1.00 for any one item  :)
